Custom Mobile & Web Apps

We love doing custom app development. This is where we get to really take the gloves off and the questions really go from “can we do this?” to “what would you like?”. When we say custom, we mean it.

Backend, front end — we’ve got all the ends.

When we say custom app development, we mean what’s often referred to as “Full Stack” development. If you’re looking for a traditional server-side monolith application, we’ve got you covered. Maybe you’re wanting a Single Page Application (SPA) backed by an API middleware and several backend micro services. If that’s the case, yep, we’ve got experience doing that. And if you have no idea what any of that meant, you’ve just got a great idea for the next best app, then no sweat! We’ll work with you on figure out your goals and needs and come up with an architecture and plan that fits your business.

If you’re concerned about a specific technology or stack that we support in our development process, here’s what we’ve worked with:

  • Laravel / PHP
  • ReactJS
  • React Native
  • VueJS
  • NodeJS
  • GraphQL

UX isn’t an afterthought

Like with our website work, our goal at the end of this is to give your users the best experience. Sometimes people forget that the “X” in UX stands for experience. And who can blame them, experience starts with an “e” (how’s that for user experience?). Regardless, we don’t just want your app to be fast and secure, we want it to be the friendliest, best looking thing around. That’s why we do all our UX work in house and make sure that your app reflects the rest of your brand and customer experience.

Did you say Mobile Apps?

Sure did! We love the web, but sometimes that’s not the best place for your idea to be interacted with. Or maybe you need a web app and a native mobile app? Regardless, we’ve got experience with native app development, whether you need a standalone app, or something that integrates deeply with the web. We’ll also help you navigate the process of getting your app through the various app stores and out into the world.

What’s this going to cost?

Well, the short answer is, that depends. Custom can mean anything. Maybe you’re trying to make a digital version of Frog’s Joke Books so you’re never without a laugh. That’s probably something around $5,000. Let’s say you’ve got this great idea that sounds suspiciously like Twitter but you promise us it’s waaaaaay better than Twitter. That’s probably going to cost you $1,000,000,000 but hey, we’ll throw in a free domain for a year because we’re nice guys.

Jokes aside — there’s a good chance it’ll end up being between $20,000 and $150,000. That’s a huge range, but with custom the possibility are pretty endless. Regardless of what you’re hoping to do, we’ll sit down with your for free, talk it out, and give you a project proposal complete with a project-based fee so there are no surprises.
