Logo tune-up

As we started building a new website for FSEEE, we took the opportunity to tune up the organization’s logo. This is a good example of how you don’t have to completely start over or “rebrand” to improve the quality of your logo.

In this case, FSEEE wanted to keep the howling wolf, which had a long history, and we saw no reason to disagree, so that was retained. But the typography seemed weak and messy. The new version (bottom, below) has a cleaner, sturdier and prouder appearance, although the overall style of the typeface was not that much different.

It’s amazing what a little change to the type can do.
